In generale i nostri eventi rimarranno gratuiti, ma è prevista una "colletta" annuale perchè da oggi saremo 'ospiti' e non più padroni di tutta la baracca. Questo ovviamente ha un costo che sarà coperto dalle donazioni e non più da un singolo/manipolo di utenti.

Qualcuno mi ha chiesto informazioni ulteriori sull'aspetto sopra citato. In effetti, soprattutto i nuovi utenti, non sono mai stati pungolati sull'argomento, pertanto potrebbero saperne poco o niente.
In linea di massima negli ultimi 7-8 anni abbiamo pagato a Markmods circa 100€ all'anno per l'affitto del server. Questi soldi sono stati interamente coperti da me e dalle donazioni che mi sono arrivate, e che potete consultare qui: LINK (Le donazioni PRE-2018 erano in realtà delle "iscrizioni" per avere una tessera con cui concorrere a piccoli premi in denaro durante i campionati/eventi).
Quindi facendola breve, correre online con rFactor NON è gratis, qualcuno deve pagare.
Uscendo io di scena, questi costi dovranno essere coperti da altri, e l'ideale sarebbe che ognuno donasse qualcosa (non c'è bisogno di essere laureati in matematica per capire che se 20 utenti donassero 5€ a testa all'anno, coprirebbero i 100€ di cui sopra).

Someone asked me for further information on the above mentioned aspect. Expecially new users have never been informed on the costs so they may know little or nothing.
In general, over the past 7-8 years we have paid Markmods around € 100 per year for server rent. This money was fully covered by me and by the donations that I received, that you can consult here: LINK (Donations PRE- 2018 were actually "subscriptions" to have a fidelity card with and to compete for small cash prizes during the championships / events).
So basically, running online with rFactor is NOT free, someone has to pay.
Due to my retire from administration role, these costs will have to be covered by others, and the ideal would be that everyone donates something (you don't need to have a degree in mathematics to understand that if 20 users would donate € 5 each year, they would cover the € 100 mentioned above).
