Ratings from South Africa
10 to Pirelli, who hold on to the end, full-occupying the South African podium.
9 to Ogawa who has to thank Boutsen's big gift, but was still the "First of the others" throughout the weekend.
8 to Modena, a really solid race for the Italian driver and well-deserved podium.
7 to Barbazza, first of the "Goodyears", with 1 or 2 laps more, he would certainly have conquered the podium.
6 to Prost, a bit in shade in terms of race pace, still gets good points for the World Championship since he will do his best in the second half of the year.
5 to Porsche which denies a good result to Scutigeras, with Alboreto abandoning the race just in the crucial moment.
4 in Boutsen, after the pole and a race dominated for 28 laps, a sensational mistake while lapping phase which gave the victory to Ogawa. In the end he is still third, but the race pace was dominant. What a waste.
3 at Nintendo Brontolo, an 18th place as best result certainly cannot be accepted with positivity.
2 at Yamaha. It's true that Pirro got an excellent 7th place, but Gachot's mechanical failure after 2 laps really deserves censure.
1 at the Passion de la Vitesse which despite the name, does not reach the end with either car causing a large deficit to the team's budget.
