A very special season has come to an end for the F3000 guys, which saw Rubens Barrichello and Gianni Morbidelli duel ferociously throughout the year.
The Brazilian from the Bosch Nova team won the battle, while the Italian helped with his team mates to give the Talbot team success in the constructors.

Vote 10 to the Talbot team. Exceptional season for the French squad, who obtained 7 victories (6 Morbidelli and 1 Schneider), with the German driver who brought many points in the season finale testifying to the strength of the car. Drivers' title lost by just one point, but mostly due to Barrichello's great performances.

Vote 9.5 at the BarrichelloBosch Nova GP. With Gounon still at 0 points, Barrichello took care of it alone to guarantee promotion to the UAE team, but the race for the title was practically never in question. A slightly inferior car to the Talbot, only the Brazilian's talent made it possible to win the drivers' title. However, a great palmares for the team, 6 victories and 3 second places.

Vote 8 to the AP Team. Very solid and constant performances, in particular by Mark Blundell (3rd in the drivers' championship). Even without being able to win even a single GP, the team obtained the third final place, thanks to so many podiums. Inconspicuous, but effective.

Vote 7,5 for Ariete Racing, with Alex Zanardi in great shape in the second half of the season, the Italian team made a good comeback up to the final fourth place. The memorable victory in Hungary is certainly the highlight of the season.

Vote 7 to Red Bull. The switch to GoodYear tires worked out great, and the British team achieved excellent results in the season finale. Frentzen, in particular, always seemed very fast, a bit inconsistent in the race, otherwise fourth place in the constructors' championship would have been possible.
Considering that in the first 6 races they had only obtained 3 points, we can speak of a kind of sporting miracle.

Vote 6.5 for Prometheus, one of the most "balanced" teams. Both drivers brought many points, without excelling. Kristensen and Lamy stood out for their consistency, taking the car to the podium on only two occasions. To finish 6 points from 5th place is therefore a great feat.

Vote 6 at the LRG. The drivers split the points equally, but the team finished down after being close to third place for a long time. In this case we can perhaps speak of mediocrity as regards the drivers; with a more talented "star" there were the prerequisites for doing better.

Vote 5.5 rating for Curma Autosport. Lightning start for the Italian team, but in the during the season results were disappointing. They finish as "First of the Mugens and Pirellis", but I think the ranking is still a disappointment.

Vote 5 at Monster DC. The same of Curma, with the aggravating circumstance that this team was sensationally leading the championship after the third race. They haven't scored any points since. What a pity.

Vote 4.5 to the Falcon team. Actually all the last 4 teams are on a similar rating. I'm giving half point more to the Turkish team because their driver Alan McNish is the one who best finished in the standings, also getting a good second place in Belgium.

Vote 4 at DC12F1, disappointing season but still growing in the second part. Very good in qualifying, the results in the race were caused by the Pirelli tyres, disastrous after half the race.

Vote 3 to Amoir. Incredible debacle for the Macedonian team, which got off to with a very good start when Dalmas seemed to be able to rock the world. Instead after the third race they literally disappeared.

Vote 2.5 for Bullii Racing. Unfortunately the Italian team often has to close the row, and has obtained very few points. Bad season, it will be for next year!
